Looking After Your Hanging Basket

A garden can seem a lot brighter and prettier with hanging baskets. It is simple enough to put one together, but to keep it looking healthy and colourful it can take a bit of work.
The first thing to remember is to water it well! Sometimes you might miss it when watering the rest of your garden as it is not on the ground, but try not to forget!
Spring is the best time to put one together so that all the risk of frost has passed. Frost will kill of the flowers quickly because of their height in the air, so be careful.
Always try to remove spent blooms from the plants two to three times a week as this will encourage the plants to produce more flowers. And you can also boost the growth with a weekly liquid feed.
And of course enjoy the flowers!
